Bouhajla Block (DualEx 100%)

  • 105,000 gross acres in the western Pelagian Basin of northeast Tunisia
  • Three year initial term commencing April 30, 2010 during which time DualEx is to record 100 line kilometres of 2D seismic (or 3D equivalent) and drill one exploration well to test the Abiod formation
  • Producing analogue at Sidi el Kilani field lies 7 km due east of the Bouhajla permit
  • Sidi el Kilani has produced ~48 MMBO from the Late Cretaceous Abiod fractured chalky limestone since 1993
  • Secondary targets in the overlying Eocene El Gueria/Bou Dabbous and Ain Grab sections with the potential for light oil
  • Evaluation & interpretation of legacy seismic dataset has identified three prospects, and invitations to tender have been issued for the “Bouhajla North” 3D seismic survey, with field operations expected to commence in the spring of 2011
